Hours:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM / 1:00 PM finish on Friday

• Assemble complex bespoke packaging machinery from kit form, following detailed specifications.
• Modify and machine parts to ensure proper fitment and smooth operation of machinery.
• Test and troubleshoot machines, solving mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
• Follow strict safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including modifications and testing results.

• A recognized engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent) or relevant hands‑on experience in mechanical or machinery assembly.
• Strong experience in machine assembly, fitting, or mechanical modification (experience with packaging machines is a plus).
• Ability to machine and modify parts to ensure proper fitment and functionality.
• Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A background in automated systems or electromechanical systems would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Competitive hourly pay: £14 – £17 per hour (based on experience).
• Permanent/Temp to Perm, full‑time position with excellent long‑term career prospects.
• Working hours:
  
  Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a 1:00 PM finish on Fridays.
