Location:

Hours:

8am - 5pm/ 1pm finish friday

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble complex bespoke packaging machinery from kit form, following detailed specifications.
Modify and machine parts to ensure proper fitment and smooth operation of machinery.
Test and troubleshoot machines, solving mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
Follow strict safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including modifications and testing results.

Skills & Experience:

A recognized engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent) or relevant hands-on experience in mechanical or machinery assembly.
Strong experience in machine assembly, fitting, or mechanical modification (experience with packaging machines is a plus).
Ability to machine and modify parts to ensure proper fitment and functionality.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
A background in automated systems or electromechanical systems would be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Competitive hourly pay: £14 - £17 per hour (based on experience).

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 1:00 PM finish on Fridays.
