Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Cash entries, reconciliations and maintenance in Acturis
- Premium management and maintenance ensuring all entries are attributable to the correct parties, month end & yearend accounts
- To play an active role, attend meetings where necessary and to undertake other reasonable duties if required, to ensure the department operates efficiently
- Bank reconciliations and journal postings
- Cashbook, purchase and sales ledger maintenance
- Keeping Acturis up to date
- Must have at least 1 year of experience using Acturis.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the UK Insurance Industry (Essential)
- Basic technical knowledge of FCA regulations as they pertain to insurance intermediaries
- Live within a reasonable commute to our offices
- Motor insurance experience is not essential but is preferred
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Drive to learn – with a work ethic of continual improvement and excellent service
- Certificate in Insurance or above
