Assistant Management Accountant

Main Duties:

As an Assistant Management Accountant, your main duties include:

* Processing and allocating incoming and outgoing cash transactions

* Managing supplier payment runs and payment administration

* Preparing short-term cash flow forecasts to support planning and decision-making

* Supporting the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts

* Taking ownership of key balance sheet areas and completing regular reconciliations, including: cash and bank accounts, fixed assets, and investment-related balances.

* Preparing and posting month-end journals in line with reporting timetables

* Supporting inter-entity cost recharges and reconciliations

* Assisting with the preparation and submission of indirect tax returns

* Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and ways of working

* Collaborating with stakeholders across the business on ad-hoc analysis and finance tasks

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

* Actively studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA or AAT qualified

* Previous experience working within a finance function in a commercial environment

* Exposure to transactions between entities or group structures

* Comfortable working to tight reporting deadlines and managing competing priorities
