Position: Graduate Engineer (Permanent)
We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to work alongside our Production Manager at our rapeseed crushing plant & refinery plant. The role focuses on operational efficiency, process optimisation, and maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Located just outside Stratford Upon Avon, our production facility is dedicated to delivering sustainable products sourced from UK-grown, farm-assured rapeseed, supporting and championing UK farmers. Our site is one of the most energy-efficient producers in the UK oilseed sector, producing sustainable, high-quality animal feed and food-grade vegetable oil. It is a state-of-the-art plant, generating heat and power for the process from UK forestry residues and off-cuts, and as such contributes to a greener and more sustainable environment for the UK.
What could you be doing?

* Highlighting areas of the production facility which can be optimised to allow for process improvement which will benefit the plant from ease of operation and from an economic standpoint.

* Creating essential production reports which will show detailed analysis of the plant performance including yields, losses and raw material consumptions.

* Reviewing critical process parameters to improve quality and reduce cost.
The skills and competence you will need:

* You must be eligible to live and work permanently in the UK

* A chemical engineering degree at 2:1 or above.

* You should be no more than 12 months postgraduate.

* A chemical engineering degree.

* Understanding of the applications of engineering principles.

* The commitment to deliver the job and go beyond what is expected.

* The ability to process, evaluate and interpret results and make informed decision.

* Excellent communication, verbal and written.

* Ability to cope with pressure and challenging situations.
