About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Suspension Engineer to join our customer's dynamic team in Gaydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge suspension system development within a collaborative Agile environment. You will play a key role in the design, testing, and refinement of suspension components, ensuring delivery to quality, cost, and timing targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply engineering principles to develop and refine suspension systems and components.
Work within an Agile Squad to deliver industrialized products.
Manage the commodity plan using the Worldwide Engineering Release System.
Deliver Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables.
Support Change Requests, cost forecasting, and supplier coordination.
Develop and execute spring and damper module test plans.
Resolve technical issues with suppliers and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with Jaguar Land Rover standards and legal regulations.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and support programme milestones.
Essential
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience resolving technical and process issues in a project team environment.
Strong knowledge of product creation, change control, and product definition processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
Skills:
Background in engineering or programme planning departments.
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T notation.
CAD/CAE experience (preferably with Dassault toolsets).
Experience with suspension damper, coil spring, and air spring technologies.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
Education:
Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
