Smart Education is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex needs in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. This is a full-time, permanent role starting in January 2025, ideal for someone committed to inclusive education and making a lasting difference.

Job Requirements:
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within a SEND setting
• Calm, positive, and adaptable approach to learning support
• Ability to follow individual learning plans and behaviour strategies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child & Adult Workforce) or willingness to obtain
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
Role Responsibilities:
• Support pupils during lessons, small group work, and 1:1 activities
• Assist with delivery of tailored learning programmes
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
• Prepare learning resources and help maintain a structured classroom environment
• Work closely with teachers and wider support staff to meet individual pupil needs
