KS1 Teacher

Smart Education is urgently recruiting a passionate and nurturing Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a supportive specialist setting in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. This is a permanent opportunity for a teacher who is committed to inclusive education and making a meaningful difference to young learners with additional needs.

Job Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs welcome)
• Good understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching practice
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced Child/Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
Role Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging KS1 lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Support pupils with a range of additional and complex needs
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and families
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress effectively
• Create a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment
• Promote inclusion, independence, and emotional wellbeing
