The Role
Our client is currently seeking a hands-on Site Manager / Foreman to support the Project Manager in delivering the civils and construction phase of a £30 million warehousing development near Stratford-upon-Avon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, boots-on-the-ground professional who can combine site leadership with practical involvement to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required specification.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* “Support the Project Manager” in the day-to-day delivery of the civils and construction package
* “Actively participate in site activities” while supervising and coordinating trades and subcontractors
* Oversee daily site operations to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
* Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with H&S / Environmental standards
* Coordinate material deliveries, logistics, site set-up and allocation of labour and plant
* Assist with programme tracking, progress reporting and escalation of site issues
* Maintain accurate site documentation, including: labour hours, deliveries, inspections and incident reporting
* Liaise with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to solve problems quickly and keep progress moving
Skills & Experience Required
To be considered, candidates must have:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on industrial build projects valued £30m+
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, CDM regulations, and on-site safety standards
* SMSTS or SSSTS (required)
* CSCS (required)
* First Aid (desirable)
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams while being willing to work hands-on when needed
* Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving ability
Desirable

* Hands-on experience with modern construction techniques
* Ability to mentor and develop teams on site
* Familiarity with digital site reporting tools
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* A consistent and proactive approach to health, safety and environmental best practice
