Quantity Surveyor; Groundworks

About the Role

Leading civils and groundworks company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work on a variety of projects across the UK. Our office is based in Stratford upon Avon and we have projects throughout the country including Oxford, Bristol, Swindon and the Midlands.

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
• Manage project costs and track financial performance throughout project life cycles
• Conduct tender analysis and prepare tender documentation
• Assess subcontractor quotations and manage procurement processes
• Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variations
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost control
• Provide commercial advice and reporting to the senior team
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and industry standards

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (minimum 2+ years preferred)
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills
• Proficiency with cost management and estimating software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
