Procurement Specialist

Expleo is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support one of our leading automotive customers based in Warwickshire on a contract till January 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity supporting the strategic sourcing activity within a world-class engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage sourcing activities for local and regional spend.
Implement applicable global contracts developed by the Strategic Buyer.
Oversee contract and supplier relationship management for both global and regional agreements.
Conduct one‑off regional and local sourcing and exceptional order placement when tasks fall outside the scope of the Operational Buying Team.
Escalate major contractual issues to the Strategic Buyer for resolution.

Skills and Experience:

Results‑driven mindset with strong tenacity, resilience, and the ability to perform. effectively in complex, high‑pressure environments.
Degree‑level education or equivalent experience preferred.
Relevant professional qualifications aligned with the role.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
Solid understanding of category management principles.
Experience in global business operations and operational contract management.
Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
Experience supporting stakeholder operational needs within the category.
Demonstrated category expertise with a strong track record.
