Compensation: £26,800 – £28,000 per year

About the Role

The Environmental Data Account Manager is a dual‑focused role that blends strong customer service with data‑driven problem solving. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, maintaining consistent communication, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring timely, accurate data collection and submission for all accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with compliance schemes, customers and third parties to ensure compliance with legislation and voluntary commitments.
  • Research and understand various compliance regulations, building knowledge through relationships with contacts.
  • Deepen understanding of customer requirements and the industries they operate in.
  • Utilise strong data analysis and Excel skills to articulate complex data problems to customers in an accessible manner.
  • Manipulate and analyse large volumes of data, proactively identifying service development areas and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Plan resources to ensure all deliverable deadlines are met with high accuracy.
  • Maintain resilience amid high volumes of communication and tight deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer‑focused approach.
  • Ability to absorb and convey large amounts of technical information quickly.
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Solution‑oriented problem‑solving ability.
  • Collaborative working style.
  • Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Degree level education or equivalent.
