Compensation: £26,800 - £28,000 / year
About The Role The Environmental Reporting Account Manager role combines two key skill sets:
- Customer-focused relationship management – building strong partnerships and delivering outstanding service
- Data-driven problem solving – analysing complex datasets and ensuring compliance accuracy
You’ll be the primary contact for a portfolio of customers, ensuring timely and accurate data submissions, identifying opportunities for service improvements, and supporting compliance across UK and international markets.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data, and values meaningful client interactions.
Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management
Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers - Deliver exceptional service and maintain consistent communication
- Understand customer needs and industry-specific challenges
- Compliance & Knowledge Building
Liaise with compliance schemes, customers, and third parties - Research and develop expertise in environmental regulations and voluntary commitments
- Support customers in meeting compliance obligations
- Data Analysis & Reporting
Manipulate and analyse large datasets using advanced Excel skills - Translate complex data processes into clear, actionable insights for customers
- Identify opportunities for service improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Operational Excellence
Plan and prioritise workloads to meet strict deadlines - Remain resilient under high volumes of communication and time-sensitive tasks
What we need from you
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A customer focused approach
- Ability to quickly take on large quantities of technical information
- Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Solution orientated problem-solving ability
- Collaborative working style
- Excellent planning, scheduling and organization skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
