About the role – RE Teacher

I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school based in Newham who are currently looking for a RE teacher to start with them as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and expected to hit the ground running. The school are looking for a RE teacher with strong subject knowledge and the ability to build rapport through exciting class content.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience teaching religious education up to GCSE alongside the AQA syllabus.

This multi-ethnic and multi-cultural, secondary school based in Newham support a total of 814 students aged 11 to 16. With the school newly opened in January 2018, there is continuous growth with a curriculum that suits the needs of each individual with high levels of challenge. The school has a provision for 25 pupils with profound, severe, and multiple learning difficulties which is supported by a specialist PMLD team of teachers and support staff.
