Long-Term Locum Optometrist – Stowmarket, Suffolk

DNA Recruitment is delighted to exclusively represent a well-established independent optician in Stowmarket, Suffolk, and we are looking to recruit a long-term locum Optometrist to join their patient-focused team.

Our client is a team of trusted ophthalmic opticians, dispensing opticians, and eye care specialists who have been providing exceptional services to the Stowmarket community for many years. They provide high-quality care, fantastic eyewear solutions, and use the latest technology on the market.

This is a quality-led practice with an excellent reputation in the local area, offering a supportive environment where patient care and clinical excellence are the priority. The practice provides a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages, from routine eye examinations to advanced diagnostics.

Start Date:

26/05/2026 – Minimum 9 months – Potential to extend

Days/

Hours:

Ideally 5 days per week, including some Saturdays – 3–5-day options available for the right candidate

* Weekdays: 9:00am – 5:30pm

* Saturdays: 9:00am – 5:15pm

Testing & Clinics:

* 30–45 minutes per test

* OCT, Optomap, Dry Eye Clinic, Colourimetry

* Well-staffed supporting team ensures smooth workflow and efficient patient care
