Responsibilities

• Independently prepare daily work and trucking schedules for dispatching drivers to appropriate locations
• Relaying information as needed such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews and supervisors
• Utilize appropriate communication tools to contact employees and brokers, as needed.
• Take appropriate action as issues arise. Communicate with appropriate parties to solve transportation and broker issues.
• Work with Safety Department to maintain broker safety standards.
• Make independent decisions with respect to contract and employment status of employees and brokers.
• Keep and organize work requests.
• To make important safety decisions

Qualifications

• Experience in the highway construction industry and scheduling dump trucks is REQUIRED.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude. Independent critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage work in a fast-paced environment with others while multi-tasking numerous schedules and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
• Ability to work independently and exercise discretion with supervision.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Ability to pass drug screening test.
• Ability to pass formal background check.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Stow, OH.
