Base pay range
$26.00/hr - $32.00/hr
Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Performs preventative and scheduled maintenance and repairs to all machinery, equipment and buildings.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience3-4 years of relevant maintenance experience or combination of on the job and relevant classroom training/certification in industrial manufacturing that includes troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance.
Essential Duties- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication and troubleshooting repairs;
- Operates and understands all equipment necessary for completing of assigned tasks;
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, packaging, and processing equipment;
- Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees – notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production;
- Installs and tests all new equipment and auxiliary equipment;
- Determines causes of errors by troubleshooting;
- Records data (service on equipment, labor hours);
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service;
- Complete work orders in a timely manner maintaining high quality standards;
- Analyzes data and performs mathematical calculations.
