Job Title: Process Engineer – Manufacturing
Location: Stow, OH
Job Overview: The Process Engineer – Manufacturing is responsible for developing, improving, and supporting production processes related to the launch, manufacture, and testing of products within an assigned value stream or product line. This role works closely with production, design engineering, and program management, and may guide or mentor Level I Process Engineers based on production floor needs.

Key Responsibilities- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with design specifications
- Program manufacturing equipment, create CNC code, and perform toolpath simulations
- Serve as the primary manufacturing contact for design engineering and program management
- Create and maintain manufacturing methods, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and labor standards in the ERP system
- Support continuous improvement (CI), lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives
- Design, build, and validate tooling, fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing equipment
- Design workflows and manufacturing cells with a focus on waste reduction and efficiency
- Analyze manufacturing variances to identify improvement opportunities
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining and manufacturing issues
- Support Supply Chain and Quality teams with supplier development activities
- Mentor and guide junior manufacturing/process engineers
- Support customer complaints and corrective actions as needed
- Comply with all company EHS policies, safety standards, and PPE requirements
- Complete required training and perform additional duties or special projects as assigned
- 5–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years of CAD/CAM experience (Mastercam preferred)
- Experience with AutoCAD Inventor 3D modeling or similar software
- Vericut experience preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex 2D drawings and 3D models
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Experience in tooling selection and fixture design
- Hands-on experience with manual and CNC machining, including multi-axis (5+ axis) programming
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including statistical analysis
- Ability to implement process changes and train employees on the production floor
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Must pass all required pre-employment screenings and medical exams
- Ability to stand, sit, climb stairs, and reposition as needed throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as required
- Compliance with all industrial safety and hygiene requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing)
