• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for healthcare facilities
• Manage maintenance staff, schedules, and work assignments
• Maintain systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and services
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure a safe and efficient facility

Maintenance Director Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and safety regulations
• Proven leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus
