Program Supervisor – Sevita (REM Community Services)
Pay: $21.00 per hour;
Full‑time position.
Position Type: Full‑time, non‑exempt, hourly supervisor role.
Scope of Role- Supervises a single program or unit, typically supporting 4–8 individuals in residential settings or 10–15 individuals in periodic, vocational or day programs.
- Duties include direct support, professional or program activities, and supervisory responsibilities.
- Supervise Direct Support Professionals.
- Oversee day‑to‑day program operation, including delivery of supports, person‑centered plans, health care, advocacy, customer engagement and regulatory compliance.
- Work 8 to 16 flexible hours per week in a supervisory capacity; provide direct support for remaining hours.

Services and Supports- Direct Support:
Works regularly scheduled shifts as a direct support professional. - Records:
Documents as required; reviews records, billing and program documentation daily for accuracy. - Program Planning:
Assists Program Director in developing and monitoring individual program plans. - Team Meetings:
Attends routine progress meetings. - Compliance:
Assists Program Director in maintaining licensing compliance; implements Sevita compliance plan. - Management of Individuals’ Assets:
Ensures safety of individual funds and property; monitors spending and reconciles accounts monthly. - Incidents:
Documents incident reports; submits initial reports to Program Director. - Billing and Utilization:
Compiles census or attendance information; reviews data and attests to accuracy.
- General Health Care:
Monitors health, documents, communicates with medical professionals and implements preventive strategies. - Appointments:
Schedules or assists with health care appointments; may accompany individuals and document visits. - Medications:
Accurately administers or supports self‑administration of medication; reviews documentation for accuracy. - Medical Supplies and Equipment:
Purchases and maintains supplies and equipment in consultation with Program Director. - Dietary Planning:
Develops menus and oversees food service consistent with individual plans.
- Communications:
Maintains productive and professional relations with individuals, families, case managers and other stakeholders. - Customer Service:
Implements Sevita Customer Service Standards; trains DSPs in delivery.
- Recruitment and Hiring:
Assists with recruitment; interviews and hires direct support professionals in consultation with the Area Director. - Employee Scheduling:
Populates and maintains schedule to assure coverage and minimize overtime. - Training:
Assists with onboarding and delivers orientation and ongoing training; verifies training records are accessible. - Evaluation:
Prepares and conducts annual evaluations for Direct Support Professionals. - Discipline and Termination:
Coaches employees, corrects behavior, recommends and participates in termination decisions. - Employee Safety:
Responsible for employee safety and workers’ compensation compliance. - Management:
May assist with or lead monthly program meetings for direct support professionals.
- Purchasing:
Purchases food, household and office supplies; reviews credit card statements and invoices; monitors cost‑effective spending. - Individuals’ Served Funds Management:
Secures and safeguards individuals’ funds; updates financial ledgers weekly. - Billing and Utilization:
Reviews census, attendance information to assure accurate billing; monitors utilization. - Staffing:
Monitors staffing hours for budgetary compliance.
- Census Capture:
Captures daily census within systems and ensures accurate documentation. - Census Performance:
Develops understanding of census metrics and escalates potential service disruptions. - Placements:
Supports location preparations required for expected placements.
- Vehicles:
Inspects vehicle safety features; reports concerns; trains staff on safe vehicle operation. - Living Environment:
