Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non‑profit ministry dedicated to Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically integrated, college‑preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals committed to teaching from a biblical worldview and philosophy. We are committed to providing our students with experiences that will foster in them a servant’s heart, including extra‑curricular activities, inter‑scholastic athletics, music, theater, short‑term mission trips, and numerous service opportunities.

This position serves as part of the Clinic team that provides health and medical services during the school day to our students and staff.

• Conducts screenings and writes referrals for health care services
• Provides basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness
• Develops health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities
• Educates students and staff on healthy habits, such as proper nutrition and hygiene
• Detects health problems in early stages through regular screenings
• Tracks students’ vaccination records
• Updates students’ medical history
  
  Ensures the school environment is safe for children and school staff (e.g., prevention of communicable diseases)
• Writes referrals for pediatricians and other health specialists
• Ensures compliance with national and local health laws
• Other duties as assigned

• Degree in Nursing and a valid national certification
• Current and valid license from the Ohio Board of Nursing
• Minimum of three years in nursing/medical experience

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, founded in 1968, is a private, college‑preparatory, non‑denominational Christian middle and high school that seeks to Educate and Cultivate Servants for Christ. Students meet rigorous admissions standards both academically and spiritually. CVCA’s 1,170 students, of whom 20% represent minority populations, come from a nine‑county area. Our facilities include state‑of‑the‑art technology, seven science labs, Innovation Lab, a 31,000 square‑foot fieldhouse and competition gymnasium, a 600‑seat chapel/auditorium, and 70 acres of sports facilities, including a turf stadium and all‑weather track.
