Industrial Mechanic

• Ensure and improve the reliability, performance, and longevity of equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and address detected mechanical anomalies.
• Install machinery and equipment; detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Participate in the selection of equipment for various projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company EHS guidelines during the installation and operation of new equipment.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement instrumentation and connectivity improvements for equipment.
• Evaluate, recommend, and participate in automation projects across operations.
• Actively manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge in Pneumatic systems, Hydraulic systems.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently assemble and disassemble machine parts and adjust and align mechanical components.
• General knowledge of electrical systems

• PREFERRED:
  Degree in Industrial Mechanics or Electromechanics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with assembly and disassembly and handling heavy equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ingenuity, dynamism, resourcefulness, and ability to work autonomously.
• Tolerance for exposure to visual elements and industrial odors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
