Registered Nurse-Medical Surgical

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Medical
- Surgical team on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis. The registered nurse position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in assigned units. The RN maintains accountability for their own practice and delegates/provides direction to other nursing personnel in the unit in accordance with their level of experience and expertise.

• Ability to perform essential functions of a Registered Nurse including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, and evaluation
• Effectively enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices
• Maintains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practices
• Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues
• Collaborates with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice
• Integrates research findings into clinical practice

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing
• Currently licensed by the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse in good standing
• Current BLS certification at hire, ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certificate within 90 days of hire
• Non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar

  Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, changing font, saving a document, writing a letter.

• Part‑Time, 0.6 FTE – 24 hours per week;
  Variable days; 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.;
  Every 3rd Holiday – 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Full‑Time, 0.9 FTE – 36 hours per week;
  Variable days; 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.;
  Every 4th Weekend – 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.;
  Every 3rd Holiday – 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
