Accounts Payable Coordinator, Part-Time

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Coordinator, 18 hours/week (NON-EXEMPT)

We are looking to hire a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to process a high volume of foreign vendor invoices. This position will support the lateral accounts payable processes including, but not limited to, invoice processing, handling discrepancies, and processing payments. The role may occasionally support the domestic vendor accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and has excellent communication skills.

This is a focused, remote-friendly position that requires minimal direction.

$28.00 per hour - $29.00 per hour

• Process approximately 400‑600 invoices per month, including coding and approval verification
• Prior Desppr the invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments
• Calculate invoice discounts for terms and other deductions
• Process electronic payments on a weekly basis
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries promptly
• Reconcile A/P subledger to General Ledger
• Produce monthly reports to assist with month‑end close
• Maintain accounts‑payable files and documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (strongly preferred)
• 1–3 years of accounts‑payable experience (required)

• Prior accounting experience
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical skills to detect financial data discrepancies
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with Infor Enterprise Financials and Powerlink (desirable)
