Overview

Come join the award-winning King's Pointe Resort in Storm Lake, IA! We are currently accepting applications for seasonal Golf Course Beverage Cart Attendants.

The Golf Course Beverage Cart Attendant will offer friendly and expedient service to the guests and assist the golf professional staff in golf shop operations, merchandise sales and other golf-related activities as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • The Golf Course Beverage Cart Attendant will offer friendly and expedient service to the property’s guests and assist the golf professional staff in golf shop operations, merchandise sales and other golf-related activities
  • Process beverage orders and payments for guests of the golf course
  • Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process if necessary
  • Restock beverage supplies as necessary and directed for the cart and bar area in the pro shop
  • Responsible for cleaning and tidying guest areas as well as the beverage cart
  • Ensure proper lock up and storage of beverage cart and other carts if directed
  • Follow procedures for facility opening and closing
  • Report any maintenance concerns to the appropriate departments
  • Issue receipts for guest purchases
  • Assist in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies
  • Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience, Competencies, and Education
  • Must have a friendly, positive personality and a can-do attitude and organizational skills.
  • Able to adapt and work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and have excellent initiative skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic cash handling skills.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend and twist for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and able to handle multiple priorities/projects at the same time. Must be punctual, reliable, and conscientious.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be a responsible driver.
  • Must be able to follow rules of the golf course while navigating the course.
  • Must complete responsible service of alcohol training.

This position is subject to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.
