Overview
Coordinator of Player Personnel (Job Number: 2600342) – Division I coaching/administrative role supporting football operations.
Responsibilities- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks and player relations to support the operation of a Division I football program. Serve as the primary liaison with athletic department staff and report to the Head Football Coach.
- Coordinate the administrative side of the recruiting process, including database management and film evaluations.
- Assist with current player personnel matters, NCAA Compliance, and Official Visit planning. Act as a point of contact for athletic department support areas and professional scouting personnel.
- Work closely with current players regarding athletic and academic obligations, financial obligations, and life-after-college development. Identify and coordinate team community service efforts and other daily tasks for student-athletes.
- Assist in the administrative side of the recruitment process, including recruiting software programs/subscriptions, data collection, and video collection to support coaching staff. Monitor permissible recruiting websites and provide updates on committed prospects.
- Coordinate with Admissions and Financial Aid to monitor prospective student-athletes and the new student acceptance process; assist student-athletes with the application process. Initiate grant-in-aid requests and monitor current student-athlete grants-in-aid and student accounts.
- Assist with official/unofficial visits, ticket requests, and on-campus visit coordination in accordance with NCAA regulations in conjunction with the Compliance Office.
- Coordinate campus visits with NFL personnel and scouts; distribute game films to NFL teams and coordinate junior/senior Pro-days.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned consistent with rank and departmental mission.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). One (1) year of full-time college-level administrative or coaching experience in football (student experience may be considered).
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Understanding of NCAA Compliance Rules (experience in Division I, II, or III, collegiate athletics coaching, or staff in a collegiate athletic program). Previous experience with a Division I Athletic Program.
- This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for overtime provisions of the FLSA.
- In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for $4,000 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
