Human Resources (HR) Specialist
A nursing home is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join their team.
General Human Resources (HR) Specialist duties:- Benefits and Leave administration, including FMLA
- Employee relations
- Onboarding
- Compliance
- Time and Attendance entry
- Payroll Register Audit and Review
- Understanding Federal and State laws and regulations governing Payroll
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment
- Consult with hiring managers to ascertain needs within each department
- Manage the job postings process
- Review resumes and pre-screen candidates
- Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers
- Conduct phone and office interviews
- Understand HR policies and practices related to benefits, work rules, pre-offer requirements, etc.
- Healthcare experience required
- At least 2 years of HR management experience, including recruiting
- At least 2 years of payroll processing experience
- Strong knowledge of Federal and NY employment laws and regulations
- Staffing coordination experience preferred
Salary: up to $70,000 per year
