Overview
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at Stony Brook Medicine is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor to join a busy Minimally Invasive Gynecology academic practice with an established history of excellence. Candidates must have completed an accredited Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery and be Board Eligible/Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. New York State License or eligibility for one is required.
Minimally invasive surgery experience, including robotic, is required. Clinical/translational research experience is preferred.
The Department has faculty in each of the recognized specialties, an accredited residency, and an accredited Complex Benign Gynecology Fellowship. The MIGS division at Stony Brook is a busy academic practice providing evidence based patient care in the treatment of complex benign gynecologic conditions. The faculty is active in all areas including clinical care, research, and education.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
MD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. NYS License or Eligible for NYS License. Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery, including robotic surgery experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical/translational research experience.
