Graphic Designer - Collateral & Web Specialist

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume): Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Three (3) years of full-time design experience creating both print and digital collateral. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite).

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or related field. Familiarity with web design principles, UX/UI best practices, and basic HTML/CSS for implementing designs.

Brief Description of Duties: The Graphic Designer will specialize in Collateral Development and Web Design for the Office of Change Management. This role plays a pivotal role in shaping change communications, both in print and across digital platforms. This professional creates a broad range of visual assets—ranging from change management collateral to engaging website graphics—ensuring all materials reinforce brand identity and deliver clear, compelling messages to target audiences.

The ideal candidate blends creative vision with technical expertise, producing visually impactful materials that drive both organizational change and digital engagement. By crafting visually engaging materials that align with change management strategies and evolving web standards, the designer amplifies organizational messaging, supports objectives, and enhances user engagement. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with departments, stakeholders, and developers is also crucial for success.

  • Creative & Visual Design:
    • Collateral Development:
      Design and produce a wide array of print and digital materials to support change management initiatives, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, business cards, letterheads, direct mail pieces, packaging, website graphics, email templates, and presentations.
    • Visual Storytelling:
      Transform complex concepts into engaging visual communication pieces that resonate with the intended audience and align with overall change management strategies.
    • Brand Consistency:
      Ensure all materials strictly adhere to company brand guidelines and messaging across all print and digital collateral.
  • Digital & Web Design:
    • Web & UI Design:
      Create user-friendly, visually striking websites and applications, designing layouts, color schemes, logos, and user interface elements focused on excellent user experience.
    • Responsive Design:
      Develop digital assets and web layouts that function seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Collaboration & Project Management:
    Coordinate with project management and other functional area teams to deliver projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Project Management:
    Oversee timelines, revisions, and deliverables to ensure high-quality, on-time project completion.
  • Innovation & Professional Development:
    • Adaptability & Innovation:
      Stay current with evolving design trends, technologies, and best practices in both collateral and web design fields.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

Special Notes: This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.

In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $4,000 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
