We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Compliance Specialist to join our team in Pawcatuck, Connecticut.

This position is responsible for monitoring and auditing the quality of all manufactured goods from incoming inspection through final assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitates monthly supplier scorecards and quarterly review of supplier performance for additional suppliers to monitor;
  • Trends NCR data to initiate supplier corrective actions and internal improvement activities;
  • Drives continuous improvement with suppliers and internal departments through CARs, including on-site meetings, audits and procedural changes;
  • Facilitates and assists with sample approval process;
  • Drive to root cause and implement the corrective action with the relevant functional units;
  • Lead continuous improvement activities to support QMS and customer satisfaction;
  • Supports audits of procedures, checklists and forms for completion and use (supporting ISO 9001:2015 internal audits);
  • Creates documentation and drives improvements as needed to ensure best practices are clearly defined;
  • Provide / facilitate training to support identified best practices.
Requirements
  • Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer or Technician with significant experience to initiate improvement activities based on trending analysis.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid computer skills that include use of ERP systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
  • Experience using quality tools and methodologies including Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015
