We operate manufacturing and technical facilities across multiple countries. We have an exciting opportunity for a Utility Operator to join our team in Pawcatuck, Connecticut.
Duties include but not limited to operating a forklift, maintaining and putting away electrical inventory, moving parts, housekeeping, and supporting the assembly floor to help increase the quality level efficiency.
- Put away electrical supplies and keep area neat and clean
- Empty cardboard and wood dumpsters
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned
- Assist in preparation of equipment for shipment
- Sort and organize parts on the assembly floor
- Keep assembly floor areas clean and organized
- Assist assembly floor area personnel in any other job deemed necessary by a lead man or supervisor
- Operate power sweeping / washing equipment
- Perform material handling duties as assigned
- Take instruction and direction on work and related work assignments from supervision and or lead man
- Must be willing to assist other employees in all types of extrusion equipment
- Demonstrate the flexibility to work in all departments and on all types of extrusion equipment in a productive and efficient manner
- Work overtime as required to meet the needs of production schedules
- Always a self starter, self sufficient and motivated and strives for improvements

Requirements- High school or technical school diploma
- Experience in a Manufacturing Facility
- Fork truck certification
- Ability to follow safety protocol
