We are seeking a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join a well-established engineering and land surveying firm in Stoneham, Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will have experience in civil site design, stormwater management, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting for land development projects.
This role involves managing engineering projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements and timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare civil engineering designs for land development projects
- Develop site layout, grading, drainage, and utility plans
- Perform stormwater management design and analysis
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and project stakeholders
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, and documentation
- Assist with permitting and regulatory approvals
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and environmental regulations
- Provide support during the construction phase of projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering or land development
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Experience in site development and stormwater design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with HydroCAD
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with permitting and regulatory compliance
