Full-Time | Permanent
An experienced Estimator is required for a Refurbishment Division, working as part of a growing team and supporting the ongoing development of the department.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working to a high standard while meeting strict deadlines. The role involves contributing to the smooth running and development of the department alongside delivering accurate and commercially sound estimates.

Key
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven track record within the construction industry, preferably in façade restoration and/or natural stone
* Demonstrable experience in construction and refurbishment estimating
* Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
* Strong attention to detail with a clear understanding of contract conditions and restrictions
* Excellent analytical, numeracy, and written/verbal English communication skills
* High level of computer literacy, including MS Office and MS Project
* Strong time management skills with the ability to balance and organise workloads
* Commercial awareness with the ability to support and develop sales strategies
* Proactive team player with strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities
* Full UK Driving Licence
Educational Background & Experience
* Degree qualified in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management (preferred) or equivalent industry experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related industry
* At least 3 years’ experience in construction estimating within the refurbishment sector
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of pre-tender and tender submissions
* Preparation of financial and commercial presentations
* Producing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and Bills of Materials (BoMs) from drawings and specifications
* Analysing and compiling accurate, well-organised estimates and proposals within required time frames
* Negotiating contract terms and conditions
* Departmental reporting and commercial analysis
* Maintaining and developing client and partner relationships
* Supporting new business development activities
* Assisting in sales and marketing initiatives
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering accurate net cost estimates, on time and to a high standard of quality, contributing to the successful award of profitable refurbishment projects
