£32,760 per annum

Full Time – 45 hours per week (Day shift)

• Delivery and collection of customers' freight as assigned by the Transport Office to and from various locations and regions
• Multi‑drop delivery and collections
• Supervise the loading of your vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage
• Ensure the correct goods and quantity of goods are loaded and unloaded
• Plan your day and route in the most cost and operationally effective manner
• Present, process and return customers' Delivery Notes
• Secure and return Proof of Delivery advice notes (POD) electronically and/or manually
• Inform the Transport Office of any delays to or while at work
• Maintain your vehicle (inside and out) in a clean and very tidy condition
• Refuel your vehicle daily in accordance with Company Procedure

• Class 2 (C) Licence / Valid Driver CPC / Tacho card
• Experience of HGV Class 2 driving essential
• Knowledge of vehicle weights and legal limits
• Understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive Regulations / Road Traffic Laws
• Familiarity with Construction and Use Regulations
• Effective communicator with ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
• Flexible approach to hours of work and consistently reliable and dependable
