Are you an experienced and proactive Social Worker looking for your next locum opportunity? My Client is currently recruiting for a Duty & Assessment Social Worker to join a busy and supportive team in Stoke-on-Trent, offering a competitive rate of 33.30 per hour.

As part of the Duty & Assessment team, you will:

• Undertake Child & Family Assessments

• Manage a varied and fast-paced caseload

• Complete Section 47 investigations

• Work closely with partner agencies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children

• Make timely and effective decisions in line with statutory guidance

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

• Proven experience within Duty & Assessment / Front Door services

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Competitive rate of 33.30 per hour

• Supportive management and team structure

• Flexible working arrangements (where applicable)

• Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement
