Maintenance Plumber

Overview

Mobile Maintenance Plumber – CBW Staffing Solutions is hiring for Stoke‑on‑Trent and surrounding areas. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems to keep facilities operating smoothly and meet client expectations.

• Salary up to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Vehicle & Fuel van and fuel card supplied
• Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
• Out‑of‑Hours on‑call rota (to be confirmed)
• Leave 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify leaks, clogs, and other issues promptly
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to proactively address potential breakdowns and extend the lifespan of plumbing equipment
• Utilise expertise to diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, including leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes
• Conduct installations, replacements, and upgrades of plumbing fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate closely with other maintenance personnel and external contractors to coordinate repairs and renovations seamlessly
• Uphold stringent safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment for all

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
• Proven track record as a Maintenance Plumber or similar role within the facilities management sector
• In‑depth knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials, coupled with strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
