Excavator Operator
Responsibilities- Operate and carry out all relevant duties in excavator driving and operations, operating a 360 excavator.
- Dig trenches, foundations, and other excavation work.
- Load and unload materials.
- Ensure that the excavator is properly maintained.
- Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise.
- Communicate with other operators, contractors, and clients to ensure the project is on track.
- Set up and prepare the site for excavation work.
- Engage with the general foreman and participate in other works if no excavator work is available.
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the excavator.
