International Business Development Manager
Hybrid – UK / Stafford Based up to £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Are you experienced in growing international markets and building high‑performing distributor networks? Do you thrive in a role where you’re opening new territories, securing commercial partnerships and driving global revenue growth?
This newly created position offers the chance to shape international expansion for a well‑established organisation with a strong global footprint. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to develop new markets, strengthen reseller relationships and deliver long‑term commercial success.

The Role
As the International Business Development Manager, you will focus on identifying new overseas opportunities, onboarding distribution partners and securing high‑value commercial agreements. You’ll be responsible for developing market‑entry strategies, building new reseller channels and driving sustainable revenue growth across priority regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Research, identify and prioritise new international markets
* Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
* Establish first‑time relationships with distributors, resellers and commercial procurement teams
* Prepare tailored proposals, bids and commercial submissions
* Negotiate pricing, terms and long‑term agreements
* Represent the business at global trade fairs, industry events and partner meetings
* Report on pipeline activity, performance metrics and new business wins
Essential Experience
* Proven success in winning new business across international territories
* Strong background in distributor/reseller acquisition and channel development
* Experience in export sales, market entry and international growth strategy
* Confident negotiator with strong closing skills
* Excellent relationship‑building and networking ability
* Target‑driven, commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously
* Willingness to travel internationally when required

* Experience managing global distributor networks
* Background in international sales development or channel expansion
* Self‑starter with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
* Ambitious, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of outcomes
