Plant Operator

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen at a Stoke-on-Trent based cylinder re-test facility for a Plant Operator / Cylinder Test Operator to join a well-established industrial operation.
This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background who enjoys hands-on, quality-focused work in a safety-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Cylinder, valve and pack inspection

* Refurbishment and re-validation of industrial and integrated products

* Maintaining a strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements

* Fault inspection, reporting and escalation

* Flexibility to support other operational duties when required
About You

You will have:

* A minimum of City & Guilds in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent (mandatory)

* A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work on your own initiative

* A positive, energetic and reliable approach to work

* A strong desire to learn and develop
A forklift truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
