As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales and commercial function of the hotel, ensuring revenue growth across rooms, meetings & events, corporate accounts, and leisure business. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will create and execute innovative sales strategies, develop key partnerships, and motivate a high‑performing sales team.
Extensive MICE business which can facilitate up to 650 delegates and a dedicated conference centre.
This role is hybrid (office/appointments/agent visits) working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities as a Director of Sales- Develop and deliver the hotel’s sales and revenue strategy to achieve budgeted targets
- Identify, secure, and grow corporate accounts, conference & events business, and leisure opportunities
- Build strong relationships with key clients and local businesses
- Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide sales teams to maximise brand‑wide opportunities
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and ensure the hotel remains competitive
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions
- Report sales performance to senior leadership and contribute to business planning
We want someone who’s as ambitious as we are! Ideally you’ll have:
- At least 3 years’ senior sales leadership experience in hotels
- Commercial sparkle — you know how to spot opportunities and close the deal
- Confidence, charisma, and brilliant communication skills
- A proven ability to motivate, coach, and inspire a team
- Experience with Hilton systems (Delphi.fdc, OnQ) = a bonus
- Experience with high volume of MICE business
