Children’s Registered Manager

We are working in partnership with a highly regarded children’s residential provider to recruit an exceptional Children’s Home Registered Manager for a well-established solo service in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a rare and genuinely attractive opportunity to step into a home with multiple GOOD Ofsted inspections, a settled and highly experienced staff team, and a structured, supported transition into management.

The current Registered Manager is stepping up and will become the Responsible Individual, remaining closely involved with the service.

This provides continuity, stability, and strong leadership support for both the incoming Manager and the existing child and staff team.

The home is stable, compliant, and well‑run — you’ll be building on success, not firefighting.

• Solo placement
• Experienced, settled staff team
• Excellent compliance history with GOOD+ outcomes only

This role is strictly for experienced Registered Managers.

• You must be a current or recent Children’s Home Registered Manager
• You must have recent GOOD or OUTSTANDING Ofsted outcomes only
• This role is not suitable for Deputies looking to step up

We are looking for a confident, values‑led leader who can maintain high standards, inspire a strong team, and provide exceptional care for a young person with complex needs.

• £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
