Principal Manager – Children's Support and Court Team

Stoke‑on‑Trent City Council invites applications for the role of Principal Manager – Children's Support and Court Team.

Hours: 37 per week

This advert is open to both internal and external applicants.

We’re looking for an experienced and skilled manager to lead our Children’s Safeguarding and Support Service in the Court Team.

As Principal Manager, you will shape practice, influence strategic direction and drive children’s care proceeding, permanency plans and care planning, ensuring the safeguarding remains robust, responsive and child‑centred at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing Public Law Outline and Care Proceedings.
  • Driving child‑centred safeguarding and permanency planning.
  • Collaborating with partners to deliver high‑quality services.
