Data Analyst – Strategic Planning & Analytics (SP&A)

CPM is looking for a Data Analyst – Strategic Planning & Analytics to join our Strategic Planning & Analytics team at our Head Office in Thame, supporting data‑driven decision‑making across internal teams and client programmes. This is an opportunity for an experienced analyst with strong SQL, Power BI and Python or R capability to build scalable reporting, analytics and deployment solutions from the ground up.

You’ll work closely with Account Management, Operations and Field teams to deliver insight‑led outputs that drive performance and efficiency. Offering a salary of £32,000–£36,000 per year depending on experience, hybrid working and comprehensive private healthcare, this role provides real scope to influence strategy through data.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design, develop and maintain reporting, analytics and insight solutions aligned to internal and client objectives.
  • Transform, model and analyse data using SQL and analytical tools to generate clear, actionable insight.
  • Build dashboards and visual outputs using Business Intelligence tools including Power BI.
  • Deliver reporting On Time, In Full, No Errors (OTIFNE), meeting agreed service standards and deadlines.
  • Prepare and generate territory and deployment plans using bespoke planning software.
  • Analyse EPOS, field execution and performance data to inform territory design and coverage models.
  • Support automation and AI‑enabled analytics to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Operations and Field teams to ensure insight and deployment logic are clearly understood and effectively applied.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across analytics, systems and deployment processes.

  • You have strong SQL experience and are confident working across multiple data sources.
  • You have proven experience with BI tools, including Power BI.
  • You are comfortable using Python and/or R for data manipulation and analytical modelling.

  • You enjoy solving problems and improving processes in a fast‑moving environment.
  • You value collaboration and sharing knowledge across teams.
