As a Junior Information Security Analyst, your focus will be on the technical side of information security to ensure that IT systems are operated securely. You will be part of the Information Security team that safeguards our live operations by creating and responding to alerts and anomalies identified through advanced tools and expert analysis. The SOC drives the end‑to‑end cyber incident process, from alert to resolution.

Within the SOC, you will collaborate with engineering to define tool requirements and onboard new features, and work with governance and compliance to ensure responsible data usage. Your role will engage with enterprise tools, in‑house scripts, and internet research to detect system threats. This fast‑paced role demands agility in reacting to changing business priorities and the threat landscape. It is eligible for inclusion in the company’s hybrid working from home policy.

• Work on the technical aspect of the incident management process related to information security issues.
• Undertake security‑related investigations.
• Handle daily security operational processes.
• Respond to and report on system alerts from various monitoring technologies.
• Ensure that information security aspects are considered up front and throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the business whilst supporting other members of the team.
• Liaise with the business to ensure compliance with information security requirements across different jurisdictions.
• Create technical documentation.
• Stay up to date with new and emerging threats, escalating any of interest to appropriate teams for further evaluation.
• Take an active role in audits as necessary.

• Strong understanding of general principles, practices and technologies of information and digital security.
• Ability to describe technical methods of securing operating systems and experience of security‑related tools.
• Inquisitive nature relating to information security.
• Knowledge of industry‑standard information security practices.
• Knowledge of developments in security technologies and their applications.
• Awareness of PCI DSS at current version.
• Good communication and documentation skills, high attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Pragmatic approach to the administration of governance and risk.
• Display a committed, flexible, can‑do attitude toward work.
