Location: Stoke on Trent
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience
Hours: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday
The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This crucial role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all departments and roles across the Holdcroft group, ensuring we attract and hire the best talent. A key component of this role also involves providing essential support to our flourishing Apprentice Programme.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing and Attraction:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high‑calibre candidates across all business areas. Utilise various channels including job boards, social media, careers page, recruitment events, and employee referrals. - Candidate Management:
Manage the candidate pipeline from initial application through to offer and onboarding. - Screening and Shortlisting:
Review applications and CVs, conduct initial telephone/video screenings, and shortlisting candidates for hiring managers. - Interview Coordination:
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all candidates. - Offer Management:
Work with our HR Administrator to prepare the offers, manage negotiation where necessary, and handle pre-employment checks. - Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain consistent and professional communication with hiring managers, providing regular updates on recruitment progress and offering guidance on best practices. - Recruitment Metrics:
Using our Teamtailor recruitment system track and analyse key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source of hire) to continually improve the effectiveness of the process.
- Work closely with our Training Partners to coordinate our newly formed Academy Apprentice programme
- Proven experience as an Internal Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role, preferably within a fast‑paced environment. Experience with in the automotive sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent knowledge of full‑cycle recruiting techniques and sourcing methods.
- Familiarity with Team Tailor an advantage
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with candidates and Group Hiring Managers.
- Proactive, self‑starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
