We are looking for a People Administrator who loves variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to be at the heart of everything people-related in our organisation. You will be the friendly first point of contact for HR queries and the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly. You will play a key role across every stage of the employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding to learning, development, and beyond.
One day you might be coordinating interviews or producing contracts, and the next you’ll be helping crunch payroll numbers or supporting exciting L&D initiatives. No two days are the same and you’ll love the energy of being part of our collaborative team.
- Coordinating the recruitment process by liaising with managers, posting vacancies, and arranging interviews.
- Supporting onboarding for new starters: offer letters, DBS checks, references, and paperwork.
- Managing our People and L&D inboxes, including triaging, signposting, and ensuring every query gets the care it deserves.
- Preparing monthly payroll input with precision and care.
- Updating and maintaining employee and learning systems, including keeping data accurate and GDPR-compliant.
- Tracking absence, identifying trends, and providing essential reporting insights.
- Supporting our Learning & Development programmes, including arranging training and ensuring sessions are full and effective.
- Contributing to key HR initiatives and helping shape how we support our people.
- Experienced in administrative work, preferably within HR.
- A confident communicator and team player who can manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-driven with excellent organisational skills.
- Naturally curious about HR best practice you love learning and improving systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ideally HR systems.
- Knowledgeable (or eager to learn) about GDPR and employment law essentials.
