Job Title: Senior Children’s Residential Care Worker

Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme

Salary: £29,186 – £30,434 per annum (including sleep-ins)

Working Hours: 173 hours per calendar month (equivalent to 40 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: Included within salary

Qualifications

Required:

NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent – desirable)

Experience in Years

Experience with in children’s residential care essential

• Is committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred care
• Understands EBD and complex/challenging behaviours
• Holds a Full UK Driving Licence
• Leads by example and supports team development
• Demonstrates strong safeguarding values and professional ethics

• You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have access to a car
• You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent)
• You only have Healthcare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner experience
• You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available
• Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted-registered Children’s Home will not be considered
