Job Title: Senior Children’s Residential Care Worker
Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme
Salary: £29,186 – £30,434 per annum (including sleep-ins)
Working Hours: 173 hours per calendar month (equivalent to 40 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: Included within salary

Qualifications
Required:
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent – desirable)
Experience in Years

Experience with in children’s residential care essential

The Home:- Number of Beds: Small residential setting
- Location: Staffordshire (Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme)
- Type of YPs: EBD, trauma, neglect, challenging behaviour
- Staff Ratio: Strong, supportive staffing structure
- Is committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred care
- Understands EBD and complex/challenging behaviours
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence
- Leads by example and supports team development
- Demonstrates strong safeguarding values and professional ethics
- a small, family-owned residential care provider
- Established for over 13 years
- Operates 4 small children’s homes across Staffordshire

- You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have access to a car
- You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent)
- You only have Healthcare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner experience
- You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available
- Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted-registered Children’s Home will not be considered
