Domiciliary Care Worker

Overview

G&H Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Workers to support vulnerable individuals in their own homes across Walsall and Stoke-on-Trent
.

The ideal candidate should be reliable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care while promoting independence and dignity.

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication prompts.
• Support clients with mobility and transferring.
• Carry out light household duties including cleaning and laundry.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Complete daily care notes and report any concerns.
• Travel between client homes throughout the day (mileage covered depending on client).

• Full UK driving licence OR international driving licence
• Own car is essential
• Previous care experience preferred but not mandatory (training can be provided)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends)
• A caring, patient and reliable attitude

• Drivers will receive £30 per week towards fuel, as well as mileage allowance for journeys over 20 miles.
