Working Hour: 40 hours per week

Who we are looking for…

A Deputy Manager who can support the Home Manager in all aspects of running the home, including:

  • Compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance
  • Financial planning and resource management
  • Leading and inspiring a team, including staff supervision, appraisal, and professional development
  • Managing the home in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Maintaining a safe, homely environment and high standards of care
  • Health & safety management, risk assessments, and training compliance
  • Liaising with professionals and contributing to care planning

You must have:

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce Qualification
  • At least 1 year experience as a Senior Residential Care Worker in a Children’s Home
  • Ability to be a great role model to looked after children
  • Strong leadership, team management skills, and ability to build trusting relationships
  • Genuine care and compassion for looked after children
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays
