Average of 37.5 hours/week across a 7-day working rota (with a maximum weekend commitment of 1 in
4) plus On-Call Duty only if required by department.
An exciting secondment opportunity has become available to join the Pharmacy Team at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) to lead the service to UHNM’s Neurology and Stroke Directorate. To be considered you will be an experienced, clinical pharmacist, able to demonstrate an ability to deliver high-quality care for patients.
Responsibilities- Lead the clinical pharmacy service to the Neurology and Stroke Directorate, working closely with clinicians, nursing staff, and the directorate management team.
- Collaborate with the Advanced Specialist and Lead Pharmacists in Trauma, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, Elective Orthopaedics, Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery while working within the Clinical Pharmacy team.
- Provide a high-quality clinical service and deliver clinical, financial, and risk management support to the Neurology and Stroke Directorate.
- Provide occasional clinical support to other specialties within the Clinical Pharmacy team to ensure continuity of service.
- Supervise diploma students and manage junior staff as part of the Advanced Pharmacist post responsibilities.
- Contribute to the strategic development of the clinical pharmacy service and support the Advanced Clinical Lead Pharmacist for the Network Services Division and the Deputy Chief Pharmacist Clinical Services.
